Your Tribe.
Your Vibe.
Your Power.

At The VOX Project, we’re dedicated to supporting children and young people with their mental health and emotional wellbeing.

Our work is rooted in proven therapeutic approaches including Child-Centred practice, Thrive, Trauma-Responsive care, and PACE to create safe, supportive spaces where young people can be heard, understood, and empowered.

We step in at the moments that matter, offering timely support to prevent interrupted development and to bridge the gap while children wait for specialist services.

What we do and how it's different

...
Grounded in lived experience

Founded by our Director with experience in education and children’s homes, we take a compassionate, practical approach, guided by her lived experience to better understand and support every child.

...
Whole-child focus

We look beyond behaviours to see what a child is experiencing, using trauma-responsive approaches and adaptive learning to support them in the way that suits them best.

...
Flexible, personalised support

No two children are the same, so we adapt our methods to fit each individual rather than a “one size fits all” approach.

...
Safe, trusted relationships

At the heart of our work is connection — creating spaces where children and young people feel truly seen, heard, and valued.

...
Early intervention

We step in before problems escalate, helping children and families build resilience for the future.

Who do we do it for?

The VOX Project works with children and young people in schools, children’s homes, and within the wider community. Referrals can be made by parents, carers, and professionals, ensuring that support is accessible wherever it’s needed most.

By integrating trauma-responsive, Thrive, child-centred, and PACE-based strategies (all shaped by our founder’s lived experience in education and residential settings), The VOX Project delivers tailored, early-intervention support that reduces absenteeism, preserves achievement, and fosters emotional resilience. In doing so, we help create a school environment where young people feel heard, connected, and ready to engage—to the benefit of both wellbeing and academic outcomes.

Helping children thrive, not just survive.

By working with The VOX Project, children’s homes gain access to therapeutic, trauma-responsive support that is entirely child-centred. We provide detailed therapeutic reports for each young person, including practical guidance for staff on how to meet their individual needs. Our founder’s experience as a Team Leader in a children’s home means we understand the realities and challenges of residential care firsthand. We also support a whole-home approach through training in PACE, ACEs, and PCEs, and deliver interventions that reduce emotional distress, strengthen relationships between young people and staff, and promote stability, creating an environment where children feel safe, understood, and able to grow.

Helping children thrive, not just survive.

The VOX Project provides timely, accessible, and compassionate support for children and young people. Through family referrals, youth groups, GP signposts, or self-referral, we deliver targeted therapeutic care tailored to each child’s individual needs. We also offer wellbeing workshops and guidance sessions for parents and carers, helping them understand and support the specific needs of their children. By providing early intervention and community-based support, we help reduce the risk of crises, strengthen coping skills, and ensure young people get the help they need when they need it.
